In a post shared by Netflix, the streaming giant confirmed that Kim Woo Bin will headline the forthcoming movie “Officer Black Belt.”
Helmed by director Jason Kim of the hit K-drama “Bloodhounds” and movie “Midnight Runners,” the new film depicts the story of a mysterious martial arts prodigy who has a thing for crime detection.
In the upcoming film, Kim Woo Bin is making his big screen comeback as a black belter who has exemplary skills in Taekwondo, Kendo, and Judo. He may look like an ordinary young man, but he has combat prowess and a mix of undeniable charm.
Joining him as the lead star is Kim Sung Kyun as the devoted probation officer. The duo will showcase an entertaining crime-fighting adventure and recommend Kim Woo Bin’s character as a “martial arts officer.”
With “Officer Black Belt,” viewers will get to see a thrilling chemistry between the martial arts officer and probation officer as they keep the community safe with their amazing crime-busting skills.
